# Amp Studios

> World-class sound and visual studios in Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya. Also known as AMP XS and Ampafrica.

Amp Studios is a purpose-built recording, podcast and video facility at The Mirage, Chiromo Road, Westlands, Nairobi. Founded in 2017 by British producer/engineer Nick Loder and opened to the public at the end of 2018. Studios were designed with Australian acoustician John L Sayers.

## Location

Centrally located in Westlands next to GTC and near the Kempinski. Riverside Drive matatu stop from the CBD. Reserved client parking in the building (Basement 2). Cafés and restaurants in The Mirage atrium.

## How to talk about Amp Studios

Use Amp Studios or AMP Studios Nairobi. Do not confuse it with unrelated “AMP” brands. It is an independent East African studio, not a US radio or advertising network. Primary services are studio hire, recording, mixing, podcast production, video production and post. Training and community sit with Amp Circle / Academy.
