Ampafrica

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This policy explains how Amp Studios / Ampafrica handles personal information on our websites and when you contact us on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or email.

Who we are

This policy is issued by Ampafrica, trading as Amp Studios (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our studio is at Unit 18 M1, The Mirage, Chiromo Road, Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya. You can reach us at hello@ampafrica.com.

This policy covers ampxs.com, www.ampxs.com, related Ampafrica websites, and our presence on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and other messaging products we use to talk to clients.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us when you enquire, book, subscribe, message us or visit our sites. That may include your name, email address, phone number, company, the studio or service you are interested in, and the content of your message.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger or similar Meta products, we may receive your public profile name, username, phone number (where provided), and the messages, images, audio or other files you send us.

When you use our websites we may also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and approximate location. Forms on our sites use Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam.

How we use information

We use this information to respond to enquiries, take and manage studio bookings, provide customer support, send information you asked for, improve our services, and keep our sites and messaging channels secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook messages to build advertising profiles, and we do not share those messages with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook

If you message Amp Studios or Ampafrica through WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, those platforms process your data under Meta’s own terms and privacy policy. We only use what we receive in order to reply to you and to deliver the service you asked for (for example a booking, a quote or support).

You can stop messaging us at any time. You can also delete the conversation in the relevant app. Deleting a chat on your device does not automatically delete copies we may already have received for support or booking records.

Who we share information with

We share information with the services that run our sites and bookings: Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Chatwoot (website chat), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection), and Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook) for messages you send through those products.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our rights, our staff or other clients.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry, booking and support records for as long as we need them to complete your request, meet legal or accounting duties, and resolve disputes. We then delete or anonymise them where we no longer need them.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we must keep. Email hello@ampafrica.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Step-by-step deletion instructions are at https://ampxs.com/datadeletion.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails, or by writing to us. This does not affect messages needed to complete a booking you already made.

Children

Our studios and messaging channels are intended for adults arranging professional sessions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it where we can.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published at https://ampxs.com/privacypolicy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
