Control Room

Studio A is a world class facility designed by John L Sayers, featuring voice controlled mood lighting and a whisper quiet air conditioning system. With built in soffit mounted midfield quested monitoring and based around a 24 channel Pro Tools HDX system with AVID S1 controllers, it is truly a modern room with an ultra fast workflow. It connects directly to a dedicated isolation booth and a much larger live room for band recording and video work.

Booth

Studio A connects directly to a medium size dedicated isolation booth, perfect for recording vocals (although it can fit a full drum kit!). The booth can also be used when recording a full band to fully isolate vocals or drums. We even have a screen inside so you can send your talent a script or video to monitor for voiceover and ADR work.

Live Room

Our main live room is our large space for recording full bands and video content. Featuring a full size lighting grid and a number of acoustic diffusors and movable broadband absorber panels, it strikes the ideal balance between neutral and lively. With direct visibility from the control room and booth everyone can see each other whilst being in different isolated recording spaces.

FAQ's

We are located along Chiromo road at the Mirage building, next to GTC and Kempinski Hotel. If you are coming by Matatu (from CBD) that’s the Riverside Drive Stop. Matatus from Westlands stop right outside the Mirage building.

For control room and booth (vocals & voice) the minimum is one hour. For full studio sessions using the live room (band multitrack) the minimum is a half day (4 hours).
